How I can keep my bird to scream so much?

Many people write to me and asks if I can help them with their problems of bird cries. Some birds seem to constantly yell or scream when they do, do it for minutes at a time. For us, there seems to be a reason, but there really is a reason or not the bird screams.

There are many reasons for bird screaming problems to cover everything here. I thought it best to highlight some of the things I've learned and then just present some ideas that could help stop a bird screaming behaviors.

If you're reading this article hoping to find a solution to stop crying all the birds will not find it here or anywhere. Most birds scream at some point, they are destined to always find a yell and scream when they are healthy.

When the bird screaming normal?

The most common bird screaming time is early morning when the sun begins to rise and in the afternoon when the sun begins to set. It seems that was just built in birds to greet the sun and then say goodnight.

In fact, we are your flock and want to ensure that the entire herd is there with them when they get up and then announce that you are making time to eat dinner and again it's time to find a resting place for the night.

Instead of getting angry with the natural instinct of his plan bird on it and even encourage it. Maybe even join them and become part of the flock. (Actually, it can be fun!) Do not you realize how strong they are when they join.

What about the other bird screaming times?

Although the other bird screaming times, you have to put on your investigator hat and leave your notebook and a pen. Start paying close attention to exactly what happens before, during and after your bird vocalizes.

If you're really trying to solve an issue for birds to scream that is threatening the relationship with your bird, you might even want to spend a whole day at home for this purpose.

You need to keep your normal routine and give the bird attention not unusual to get to the root of the problem. You may have to do several different these days in some cases.

The screeching bird registration

Having a list entry to write about it. In the margin of the record of putting the time of day, and draw three lines in the middle of the page. At the top of each column he writes, "Before" "During" and "After", so you can keep up with the events of screeching birds.

Then when the bird starts screaming, consider what was happening just before the bird began to cry. For example, "I'm on the computer, the husband in the kitchen and children in the yard out of sight of parrot."

During the screaming, do and / or say what you normally do in the bird screaming events in your home. Write down exactly what each one does or what is doing in each session of screams. When the birds screaming session ends, write down what everyone was doing and saying, or when the bird out screaming. Do not leave anything out, every detail is important.

Continue doing this every time there is a shout session all day, if you choose to try to do this in a day or for days when you are around the bird.

What to do with your bird screaming journal

Now that you have all these notes on their bird screaming sessions, what are you to do with them? You will be surprised sometimes at the patterns found. Because no two houses are alike, I will not be able to help specifically with your bird here, but can help you find your situation.

Read down the first column and note any consistency. Such as, found that many times the bird started screaming that someone was in the kitchen, or someone was dialing the phone. Do the same with the other columns. Then think about what you and others can do differently to help stop bird screaming in the first place.

How our sessions I stopped screaming bird

I have a pair of green cheek conures that used to give us grief several times a day with the bird screaming sessions. One day she finally decided that was driving us crazy enough that we would take the time to figure out what was causing it.

At first we would just be careful not to reward the behavior of screaming. When you log on to screaming, pretending to not see or hear them. This works in a few cases, but usually you have to find out what your bird really want and avoid the problem rather than ignore the problem.

After taking note of what we were doing, where everyone was in the house, and where the birds were in reference to our offices, quickly discovered the problem from the point of view of our birds.
Most of the time that our birds had screaming sessions, someone was in the kitchen, or someone who had disappeared from the site. Most of the time, one of us was in the kitchen, when the cries of birds began.

We have solved the problem 80% of our bird screaming, taking the birds in the booth area, near the kitchen, when one of us were going to be in the kitchen for more than a few minutes. When we did, not screaming. When we forget, crying all the time.

Our birds thought part of the herd feeds on something and they were being left out. By taking them to base the game in the dining room and give them some healthy treats, they felt like they were feeding right along with the member of another flock.

When we forget and the bird screaming problem occurred, which would get in the kitchen to leave the kitchen without the recognition of birds and not return until the birds come out screaming. Then I moved to position the game and the person can return to the kitchen.

We did it in that order, so that birds are not rewarded for their session of screeching birds. We do not want to think they can start screaming and make us come looking. By waiting until they fell silent to come after them, they did not get any reward.
